Before We Begin: Contract, Expectations & Questionnaire

I’m so glad you’re here and considering working together. Before we officially move forward, there are a few important steps that help ensure we’re aligned, prepared, and supported throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience.

First, please download and review the doula contract.
The contract outlines the scope of services, on-call availability, payment schedule, boundaries, and policies that guide our work together. This document is designed to protect both you and your doula, and to create clarity around expectations before services begin. Once you’ve reviewed it, you’ll be asked to sign and submit the contract electronically.

Next, please review the “What It’s Like to Work With Me” expectations PDF.
This document goes beyond logistics and explains how I show up as a doula, how communication works, what support looks like during pregnancy and labor, and how we collaborate with your care team. It also outlines your role as a client, including communication expectations and shared responsibility in preparing for birth.

Finally, please complete the new client questionnaire below.
This questionnaire helps me get to know you, your preferences, your hopes for birth, and any concerns you may already have. Your responses allow me to tailor resources, support, and education specifically to you and your family. There are no “right” answers—this is simply a starting point for our work together.

Once your contract is signed, the expectations document reviewed, and the questionnaire completed, we’ll schedule our first in-person meeting and officially begin our time together.
